Me: Hello Travis, and welcome to the 3rd edition of NextGenInterview. Would you like to give a shout-out to anyone special?
Outsider:[/B] How's it going Cade! Thanks for doing the interview. No one in particular, I would just like to give a shoutout to every NextGenUpdate member that has made the website what it is today. 4 years and running strong!

Me: What made you decide to make NextGenUpdate?
Outsider:[/B] I had been involved with glitching on the Socom Series for quite some time. With the continued success of Clan eXo, and the release of the next-gen consoles, I had an adequate audience to start up a small forum for PS3 and 360 shooters, in particular Gears of War and Resistance: Fall of Man. The new consoles and games needed a forum for glitching and hacking discussion, and here we are.

Me: Is the site turning out the way you envisioned it in the beginning?
Outsider:[/B] Well, asking me what I envisioned when I first made NGU or when I first made eXoHax/NGB... completely different story. NGU I knew could become successful as soon as I created it because of the prior success of my original creation, eXoHaX. When I first created that site, I had no idea it would become so popular; I merely knew that the 360 and PS3 scene needed a glitching forum.

Me: It's been a long time, but do you plan to make a comeback on YouTube?
Outsider:[/B] I really do plan to make a comeback. It has been a long time... too long, My success on YouTube was fueled by my ability to produce solid tutorials and guides for glitches and exploits, and that is something that will never change. What I would like to focus on in my return will be exploit release videos that just showcase the exploits while also directing the traffic back towards NGU. Once I can establish an audience again (hopefully that is :-P ), I plan to do commentaries. I'm an interesting guy, I'm sure I could distract people from my brutal gameplay and keep them entertained with my stories.

Me: What's a normal day in the life of eXoOutsider like?
Outsider:[/B] Sit around and smoke weed... Haha nah, I took this semester off from school, but it's pretty typical. I work odd jobs (on the corner) and try to stay out of trouble while progressing in my own life. I have a crazy girlfriend, crazy friends, and crazy parents.

Me: What are some of the pro's and con's of owning a site like NGU?
Outsider:[/B] Pro's: It's a dream, really. Even though I am not as involved in the gaming community, I was once a forum newbie and I would have given my left nut to become an admin on my favorite forum
Con's: It can be difficult to work on things when you also have work and school, but when things get finished and are actually a hit on the site, it makes it all worth it.

Me: Where do you see NGU and yourself in five years?
Outsider:[/B] That's just too much to take in. I have no idea. I try to take things one day at a time.

Me: How did you and Coltz-One?
Outsider:[/B] Oh man, when Coltz was a youngin, we were on Socom 3 and my clan had found the most spectacular glitch in Socom history: the Spectator Glitch. It allowed you to join any game with spectators enabled as a spectator, you were invincible, on your own team, and had all weapons. It was ridiculous and this was a GLITCH. Well, we kept it secret needless to say, and one day our clan met up with Coltz who claimed to have known the glitch. He was just being a nub and had no idea, but we had to make sure. Somehow after that we started seeing a lot more of Coltz. That is the best memory I have, this was in 2005!

Me: If you were to start fresh, what would you do differently?
Outsider:[/B] Be more active during the Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops phase, the one and only. Oh, and I would have deleted Dylan and Matt before they finished registering.

Me: What was your most memorable momment on NGU?
Outsider:[/B] Most memorable moment(s) would have to be during the World at War saga. Had some good time playing zombies and releasing glitches to the community. The streams were on point too.

Me: What do you feel is your greatest acheivement?
Outsider:[/B] My greatest acheivement, it's very hard to say. I let a lot of things slip my mind. For one reason or another, my memory is cloudy. One thing I do remember though as being a great achievement was reaching the top 100 Subscribed Users on YouTube at the time. Real life acheivement? Being able to dunk a basketball.

Me: How did you come up the the name Outsider?
Outsider:[/B] On Socom 2 my friend was in a clan named 'The Outsiders' and I thought it was a cool name, so I stuck with it. I was known as []utsider back then.

Me: What made you get into gaming in general?
Outsider:[/B] Who doesn't love gaming! Like anyone else, I loved to play video games growing up; still do.

Me: What do you think about this years presidential race, and those new amendments in Colorado and Washington?
Outsider:[/B] Not all that into politics, but I voted for Obama. As for the new amendments, about damn time!!! Long overdue. I feel if the legalization of marijuana was introduced in a city such as Detroit, it could have direct, positive effects on the city financially. Oh and you know, with marijuana being legal it could propel less crime in the most dangerous city in America.

Me: Well, thank you for this wonderful interview, I really had a lot of fun. Do you have any final words or things you would like to add before I go?
Outsider:[/B] It was a great interview. Hope to follow through on some of my statements, including that little YouTube return :carling:
