I have a assignment for school i was wondering if you guys could help me buy answering this question with a paragraph please.

The question is:

Why do people prefer to see God in many forms than one form and why do people prefer to see him in one form than many.

How do you have that for school when schools aren't allowed to talk about religion?

Well, the only logical thing I can derive is that there are less gods to keep track of with monotheism (by the way, christianity is NOT monotheism. Angels, Archangels, Satan, God in three different forms, etc. is not the worship of one God.). Other than that it seems like arguing that One flying spaghetti monster is better than a bunch of magic space pixies.

Depending on the religion you believe in there might be a number of Gods, but there will be only one driving force that drives them. Just like the preachings in the books Christianity and Muslim have a fair bit of similarity. So, it can be believed that there is only one God but, is present in different forms.
