Saw this on an article by HP and this kind of freaked me out. I think we all know the effects of meth, but to see some of these people was an eye opener. Anyways, here it is:
sadly i know and see people who have been doing meth their whole lives and look nothing like that it is majorly over exagerated.
It actually isn't, methamphetamines are basically a clash of a lot of dangerous chemicals. People really don't understand how bad it can harm your own body. Meth's intended purpose is to make the brain go into it's own little psychosis. The meth goes into your bloodstream fairly quick, travels to the brain, damages brain synapses and as well producing an overload of dopamine which causes that euphoric effect the user is looking for. In the process of damaging your brain synapses it slows your reaction time and you can't feel much. When your brain synapses are damaged, it also affects the nervous system, this makes the user feel the opposite of what they would feel. For example, there would be a blizzard outside and the user would go outside thinking it's actually warm. In a sense, the user can't feel a thing, hallucinates, and starts to see things. Most users start to scratch at their skin and develop sores. Some users start to look like the picture above because they don't spend money on themselves and spend it on the drug itself. In terms, the pictures are very true!
