The truth is, 12/21/12 is when the Mayan Calender reaches its end. 12/22/12 is 1/1/1 on the Mayan Calender. All the commotion started when an author wrote a book about Mexico, and mentioned the Mayans. He interviewed the Mayans, and they said their calender ends on 12/21/12. They never said anything about earth-quakes, mega tsunamis, or any disaster to end humanity. So some lunatick decided to act like a child, and make up lies about how 12/21/12 is doomsday. And that book was made in the 70's.
