(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'd like to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas - (I'm going away to Ireland so I cannot wish you all any later than now)

I also want to take a moment to think about the people that cannot be with us for Christmas this year, ones that may be working abroad or ones that are no longer with us.
Take a moment to think about the innocent victims of the Aurora and Newtown shootings and any other person/people that cannot be with us.

My dad sadly passed away this year due to gastric cancer, so this year has been very tough for me. I'd like to wish everyone in the same position as me a safe Christmas.

Thank You All.

During this season of gift giving, take a moment to reflect on the gifts you already have that can never be purchased.
Family, friends, and health are gifts that can't be given.

My heart goes out to all those that have lost those irreplaceable gifts.

Seasons Greetings to all here and give the gift of tolerance, compassion, and empathy to all during this holiday season Smile

Thank You for those kind words, it's nice to know that some people appreciate the little irreplaceable gifts.
I see everyday on facebook; posts about how someone "hates their parents so much" and "I wish my family were dead", they should take them fro granted.
Once they are gone, they're gone forever. The fact that they want the very people who caused their existence to be 'dead' is blood churning. Nobody should hate their parents, nobody should want them dead. They are the best gift you will ever receive, and you will always remain the reason for their happiness.

You; their son/daughter are the sole reason that they are happy. They would never wish for you to be dead, don't do it to them.
Show them that you are grateful for your being in this world, though it may not be a great time, at least show that you are thankful.
Show them you love them before they're gone.
