There is a way to get good sound, you just run a rca to stereo jack to your pc and it sounds ok.

It's a pretty decent quality video for the easycap, I had one but it never got to 720! A little tip HD quality doesn't stop at the recording process, you can make all video's crisp HD with a good Video Editing Program Like Sony Vegas or LoiloScope 2! I use LoiloScope because I like how well it renders HD videos!

Freez Screen Video Capture is also kinda good.
