He was disappointed and told me we should start carrying them. I asked him more about these candies and he told me they were like Starbursts, but better. Being an avid lover of Starbursts, I was sort of insulted. I decided to go look for these Hi-Chew candies my self to see if they were worthy of challenging Starbursts. Holy FUCK, they were. I found them at a 7-11 and I bought a couple different flavors of them: Mango, Peace, and Strawberry.

For once in my life, I was shocked to learn that the candy rapper had not lied to me. These goddamn candies tasted exactly like the fruits themselves. The mango just like mango, the peach similar and the strawberry as well. I've always loved strawberries, but never was I into strawberry flavored things. To me, they all tasted like a mixture of chemicals hoping to capture the essence of real strawberries; even Starbursts. But these Hi-Chews were amazing. It was like eating an actual strawberry and not some cheap and hopeless imitation trying to be a strawberry. These have become my new favorite candies.

I thought I'd share this with you because I think you guys should really give it a try - if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed. I only found a couple of common flavors at the local 7-11 but I've read up on them and came to know that over 100+ flavors exist. Later on, I'm going to buy some wicked flavors from eBay or Amazon. This shit really caught me off guard and now I can't stop obsessing over this candy... lol.

Some of the best candies there are. I don't even need to try em because I always have them lol. I was in Japan a couple years back on vacation and saw these for sale for a couple yen. Obviously wrapped in the typical Japanese language lol. Took me like six years just to find some here in America.

Anyway, they don't sell them here in Ireland sadly, I'd love to try them though. It's a bit expensive to order them off Amazon to here too.

I just SE'd Hi Chew We will see what kind of results come out. Never tried it and I have never heard of it either. Will have to try it sometime though if I ever see it.

Same over here. Some 7-11's sell em but they just have the basic flavors. About 4 or 5 but I know they have all sorts of gnarly flavors I'm hoping to come across.
