(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Puerto Rico has a tradition about guns...
Every year here in pureto rico, not just here but in other countries the grab their guns and start shooting once it hits 12:00 a.m.

The new advised people to stay in their home from 11:00 p.m - 12:00 a.m.
For the safety of the children and parents.
So to get to the point starting the year off we allready have 6 killings.
I'm actually schocked because right it wasen't like back then where you could stay out at 12:00 a.m still partying with no worries of someone getting shoted.

I have no comment for my country.

This dosen't have to do with being a state or not, but i agree with you.

Either way puerto ricans like me who can't stand this, might move when we are adults, I wanna move in to the US and start a new life there.

The US already has enough fucked up people who end up killing innocent people. I don't think we can tolerate anymore of this.

We just have some boring program on BBC 3...
I wish I could freely shoot my guns, I wish I owned a gun.

It's not what you think let me rephrase this for you...

"At 12:00 people who have illegal weapons (some of that weapons have kill innocent people) start shooting a lot of bullets to the air. That bullets hit 3 guys, randomly, and they have nothing to do and no one will ever know who fire that bullets. The 3 guys I just mention doesn't include the 6 guys that are dead because someone kill them, probably for the control of the drug spots here on Puerto Rico or the war between drug gangs."

Ah I see. Well what about the local authority? Can't they arrest the people that do that? I mean that's what police are there for.

Put yourself in the local authority's shoes. There is a person with a loaded gun, already firing...

I hope you can see the flaw in your logic.

Well there is a rule stating that if a person's actions puts an officers life in danger the officer has the right to shoot. Obviously the locals will have to call a swat team of some sort(no idea how Puerto Rican police operates)
