(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Has there ever been a time where you lost all respect towards someone instantly. Let it be because of their actions, what they said or whatever. You don't have to mention any names if you don't want to...

But yeah I can say I have. And I wouldn't mind saying that it happened today but whatever. Post away.

Mostly with friends, when they act differently around you all the time, like if your just chilling with them and they're cool, then when more of your friends come along they turn into a completely different person.. you just can't respect someone like that.

RIP PICHU.
Yes, I've done this all the time. But then again, once I left high school I was able to get away from all of this and basically enjoy a select few friends who I know is friends because they actually like to keep in contact with me.

Yeah, people change, or, people were always that way and I just fail to notice. There's a quote by someone who I can't remember right now that says "people don't change, they just become more truly who they really are." So I guess the respect if any was just misplaced to begin with. It's tough because we can never really look into other people's heads to see what they're thinking or what they're really like. That's why I try not to have any expectations of people at all so they can't be broken.

True. I just find it ironic when they try and start shit with people over Facebook when their actions are what caused the issue in the first place. Amazing what goes on inside of peoples heads.

I try not to lose respect for people if the situation is unavailable. There might be times when I personally do something not knowing that it will erk someone. Then you have times when people say things but when the table is turned on them, they get all defensive. Those people I lose respect for instantly. They can give the heat but can't take the heat.

Definitely dude, I thought this person was one of the greatest people I'd ever met but after a couple of their actions I lost complete respect for them in every way. It wasn't easy however because I just thought back to the 6 years or so that I've known them and thought about whether 2 actions can entirely counter everything else they had done for me. I've still not found the answer to that and I keep in touch with them in hopes of finding out whether or not they are still the respectable person I always knew.
