(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK 2 days ago when leaving school on the school bus messing around with my friends screaming at the little kids on the bus.
This girl that I knew died recently and I feel it somewhat my fault. We all though on the bus that she dropped something under her car as we left and none of us thought anything of it. She had a seizure and we watched for like a minute not knowing.
I feel like utter shit and I don't know what to do. What do I do?

I thought my grammar was bad... I seen a kid in my lunch room die of a seizure right behind me. I know where your coming from but its not your fault or anyone else's fault. There is nothing you can do while someone is having a seizure once they have one they have one...

I don't wanna make you feel bad neither offend, but
what kind of friends do you have that make fun of other people for no reason at all?
I hated when people did that to me.

Worth the Weight
I'm possibly going to be the only one to say this, and even though I understand I am going to end up looking heartless, I am going to say it anyways.

I would probably have done something similar unless it was someone that I really knew. Although I do not know the full context of the situation, the most that I would have done would be to immediately call 911. I would have avoided any sort of physical contact with her, and I'll tell you why.

People for the most part in the west seem to be very lawsuit-happy. A pair of grieving parents are going to try to put the blame on anyone just so they can make themselves feel better. I literally know a few of my friends who got into serious trouble after helping someone in a car crash. They were suspected of making the situation worse for the person, and just put that persons life into more danger instead of actually helping the victim of the accident.

So, should you feel bad? Yes. Should you feel bad about not doing anything at all? Perhaps. Just realize that you could have made the situation much worse. It's really up to how you interpret the situation that you were in. However, should you be calling yourself inconsiderate, or ignorant? Absolutely not. You did not know what was happening to her, just like I'm sure the other students around you did not know what was going on until it was too late.

Frankly, I'm more concerned about why there was no staff on the bus to aid with the situation, but that is apart from the point. Perhaps the driver didn't notice.

i guess the bus drivers thought the same as us we don't have teachers standing out side as there are never fights or anything as we have quite a non violent school

You can't change the past so why look upon that?

Go do something helpful for someone or some people. Saying that you should always help people but it may make you feel somewhat better.

Don't blame yourself for what happened it's not your fault, I mean how could you possibly know she was dying like you said you where on the bus while she was outside. It's a sad that the girl passed away but it's not your fault at all, things happen and there's nothing we can do to stop it. It's very common for people who have experienced death before there eyes to feel guilty and it's even more common for someone to feel like it was there fault, If you still feel like it was your fault then I suggest talking to an adult that you trust and if that doesn't help talk to the parents of the girl, say that you're very sorry for there lose.

Just forget about it, "thing's happen for a reason" a wise old man once said...
or
Tell the parent you was there and what happened...

guess it's the only two choices.

You feel shit cause you are wondering if you could of done something to stop her from sadly passing away. If she died after this seizure after a minute, then you could of done nothing, not even ring for an ambulance, wouldnt of been in time. I'm afraid this is something you may always feel some guilt for despite it not being caused by you, you are worried the actions you didn't do were just as bad for this girl as just walking on.

Pay some respect to her, go to her grave, do what you think would be best as it will make you feel so much better.

don't get yourself down over something you may not have even have been able to change mate. and you even said, "we watched for like a minute not knowing." so you cant really blame yourself.
