Wow I am impressed... I'm not much of a tablet person even though everyone in my family and that I know has an iPad except for me. However the Sony Xperia Z just might be my first tablet ever. :p

Yeah same with me, everyone has an iPad except me. If the price is right on this (talking £250) to entice me then I may purchase one.

It's weight is pretty impressive, but personally, if I'm going to get something as large as a tablet I'm probably not going to be overly concerned with the weight. What is really surprising is that it only comes with Android 4.1. 4.2 is infinitely better for tablets with the multiuser feature and Sony isn't really good with firmware updates judging from history, not saying that they won't support this device (which I'm sure they will). However, I certainly would not expect to get an OTA immediately after release.

Certainly specs and design make it seem more appealing than what is in my opinion the leading tablet, the Nexus 10, but then again, it will be released 4-5 months after the Nexus 10. Again, I'm kinda disappointed with the 4.1 JB though.
