(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So my religion teacher told us to download an app and use it (Dream: ON) which records when you begin sleeping, when you deep sleep and other things. I'm not sure how it works fully but basically you have to place your iPod/iPhone on the bed and it detects movements and can tell when you sleep. But that's not all it does, when it detects you're in deep sleep it will play a certain type of music to try influence your dreams, some are free and some cost. There was ONE free Lucid Dream option which i downloaded and have tried for 2 days in a row. The first night I had my iPod on mute (derp) and the second night i woke up at 6am to the sound of city noises (I was using the TOKYO CITY LUCID DREAM), it turns out I was deep sleeping at that time (6am) unfortunatly i dont remember anything.

My question is, has anyone tried this app? If so.. did it work? The psychologist behind it also made an app called digipills to influence your mood but if its anything like iDoser, I know it's all placebo effect. The dreaming thing seems more realistic because in yoga my teacher can influence what we dream/think about by speaking... so I'm sure this guy on the iPod can do that.. roite... worth a try Smile

My alarm is a whistle ( or a song) but, often when I dream I hear it go off 2 things may happen. One, I wake up. Two, I become more aware of the fact that I am dreaming and am able to influence that dream sometimes and others I am just aware that I am dreaming.

I tried this app and a different (supposedly more advanced APP called DreamZ) one for around a month during the summer. to be honest, neither of them worked. It may be different for different people, but they never personally worked. May try it again now that you've brought it up!

Lithium.
Going to actually try this app. From other peoples past usage with this app, it varies; some say it works, others say it doesn't. Hopefully it'll work for me. Smile

Oh, but it can!

Haha, I imagine it most likely uses the accelerometer that's built in so that when you move it gently shakes the iPod, alerting the app that you are moving. At least that's the only way I can think of how it would work.
