So my religion teacher told us to download an app and use it (Dream: ON) which records when you begin sleeping, when you deep sleep and other things. I'm not sure how it works fully but basically you have to place your iPod/iPhone on the bed and it detects movements and can tell when you sleep. But that's not all it does, when it detects you're in deep sleep it will play a certain type of music to try influence your dreams, some are free and some cost. There was ONE free Lucid Dream option which i downloaded and have tried for 2 days in a row. The first night I had my iPod on mute (derp) and the second night i woke up at 6am to the sound of city noises (I was using the TOKYO CITY LUCID DREAM), it turns out I was deep sleeping at that time (6am) unfortunatly i dont remember anything.
My question is, has anyone tried this app? If so.. did it work? The psychologist behind it also made an app called digipills to influence your mood but if its anything like iDoser, I know it's all placebo effect. The dreaming thing seems more realistic because in yoga my teacher can influence what we dream/think about by speaking... so I'm sure this guy on the iPod can do that.. roite... worth a try
