The amazing founder of this headset was Pamler Luckey. The Oculus Rift is a headset that visualizes the game so that you don't see a TV or computer, it feels like you are inside the game. Just Imagine playing Doom or Amnesia with the head set on and a monster jumps out at you xD. Even though it's still in prototype and probably for about 5 more years, I still have high hopes for this, they are still making little changes and upgrades, which makes it even better.
Do you guys think, are going to make the first to make VRMMORPG? That would be awesome, to play a game like Sword Art Online It would be epic just to put on a headset and just play games like runescape and WOW in 1st person. They also have a dev kit for $300 which to me it's not worth it yet because it's only a prototype, even they said wait until it's finished.

Lol this reminds me of this old thing they had back in the 90s. The Nintendo Virtual Boy... that thing was pretty damn cool. However this sorta reminds me of that.

I'm not sure if it would be something I would spend money on unless ALL the games I play went onto it and only it. I tend to play games in third person, not first person, so being inside the game wouldn't be that great for me. Plus my sister likes to watch me play games and I'm not sure I would like being completely cut off from the world around me (at least visually). Sounds neat and is amazing technology but not for me.
