It seriously pisses me off because YouTubers do this shit all the time. I understand doing it if it's something related to your field (i.e. Egoraptor from GameGrumps/Egoraptor Animation doing The Tester), but if it's nothing more than, "lol this would be sweet fuckin shit vote for me guys," then you don't deserve to have a fanbase since you're going to abuse it.

This is why I don't support those commentators anymore. They earn a big fanbase and then try to do whatever they want to because they have the backing for it. It's like he's leading the herd of blind sheep. Wake up. He comments on Call of Duty videos. He knows nothing of space nor does he have any legitimate reason for doing this.

I agree 100%. The people who really deserve this won't be able to compete with people on YouTube who don't plan on becoming an astronaut or studying anything in those fields. I wish people would speak out about this on a larger scale. Maybe even Axe or Lynx can form something where if you are famous it doesn't allow you to enter. So their application will automatically be null and void.

It truly isn't fair for anyone who really has a passion for space.

I know, you know what Lynx should of done? Offered this chance to some charities like "make a wish foundation" I think that would of been a far better use of this.

Make a wish foundation would of been the perfect use for it. Instead of other people using it as a ladder to become famous.
