And this guy was still on his computer and has now whiped all his work he has done for people and now he can not get paid and all his photos when his dad was still alive anyone help please would there be anyway he could track the IP'S thats been on his internet.

There's noway to track back the IP's that have been connected to the internet since your internet's IP changes when you reset the router etc. unless you have a static IP address. Your friend has wiped his computer for nothing, he could of simply gone on google and typed in "How to remove a RAT - Windows 7" if he's on Windows 7, anyway that was just an example.

As far as i'm aware without a back up of the photos etc he's not eligible to get those photos and work for clients back.

Would it be good if he rang his internet provider would they be able to tell who has been on his internet or computer ?

Sounds like a RAT, the best thing he should have done is disconnect from the net. And do a rough search for anything he downloaded. Scan it and check it clean. Go online to a another computer and google what new said.
Overall nature of the RAT sounds pretty simple so I doubt it would be that hard to find.
He should not have wiped his system I doubt it was that deep into the system.

You can using a cable look at your HDD may be able to get the data back but going to need some SATA cables some software to do it.

And to answer your question no. Won't have a record of that you're router log may have the IP but IP changes unless it static.

If they did store the information logs of each router etc. then shared with someone that's not involved with the Law the company could easily be sued and prosecuted for breaching the Law. It's private information that cannot be shared publicly.

There are so many ways to find a virus on your computer. But I would suggest Downloading Malwarebytes, Download Avast to keep your PC clean.

He didn't let it happen lol he has AVG on his computer he turned it on and this guy popped up saying not to worry hes not gonna do anything and all his programs just started to remove lol

He must have done something.....that sounds like a RAT or a joke program removing short cuts.
No way a program like that could be installed on a system unless you allow it or this guy is very clever and abused a loop hole. Most cases it the end user fault.
