FIGHTER ANALYSIS
Lyoto Machida

There are a few words that describe Lyoto Machida to a T and that is calm, cool and collected. He doesn't get rattled from pressure. At a perfect 15-0 record his strengths have yet to be matched in the light-heavyweight division. When he was the title contender against Rashad "Sugar" Evans he beat the living hell out of him in a fight that was one of the best fights in UFC history. I will not lie to you, I didn't see it going that way. I feel one of his best attributes is that he takes very minimal damage in a fight. Victims of the Dragon include, BJ Penn, Rashad Evans, Thiago Silva, Tito Ortiz, Vernon White and the list goes on.

FIGHTER ANALYSIS
Mauricio Rua

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua was another promising fighter from "Pride Fighting Championship" in Japan. His first fight in the UFC was against former "The Ultimate Fighter" reality show winner and former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin. He flat out got his ass handed to him in embarrassing fashion. He seemed winded 30sec's into the fight and fell victim to a rear naked choke. He vowed to hit the gym and return to the octagon a new man which he did just that. His returning fight was against 2nd oldest fighter in the UFC Mark Coleman where he beat the crap out of grandpa. Then came Chuck Liddell after that. He KTFO Liddell in the first round!

FIGHTER ANALYSIS
Cain Velasquez
You must login or register to view this content.

Cain Velasquez is another good up-&-comer in the UFC heavyweight division. He had a big win against a monster looking of a man in Cheick Kongo. Although it really didn't impress me but it is a win none the less. At a perfect of 6-0 record he is a true presence in the heavyweight division.

FIGHTER ANALYSIS
Ben Rothwell

Although this is his first fight in the UFC this 27 year old man is a veteran MMA fighter with a record of 30-6. He really doesn't have any big name wins to speak of but has some big name losses in Andrei Arlovski, Tim Sylvia. He better pack a lunch if he expects to win going against Cain.

lol that Rashad picture is epic.

Time for my picks, remember I was 5-0 last ppv Happy
Doubt I will do that again as there are some pretty even matchups and some unknown variables(Shogun)

Lyoto Machida wins via 4th round tko or Decision

Lyoto striking is obviously freaking awesome, and had great takedown defense so it will be hard for Shogun to effectively apply his jiu-jitsu. Shogun looked great in Pride but seems to have lost something in the transition to the cage and through his multiple surgeries. If Shogun shows up I give him a 25% chance of taking this but I am still going with Lyoto

Cain Velasquez wins somehow.
Cain looked lackluster in his last fight, at least to me. He trains really hard and is a very strong dude. I wish he would somehow drop to lhw, because I don't think he can challenge brock for the title. They posses similar skills but Lesnar is better and stronger in most aspects of them. Either way Cain will win this one

Joe Daddy by Rear naked choke, or a win at least Happy
Fisher is a very worthy opponent, this is really a contest to see who is the gatekeeper for the division because both are really good but neither is championship material. Will be close but I think Joe Daddy pulls out the win

Josh Neer wins
Not to sure on this fight, but I pick Neer just cause it is what my gut says

Anthony Johnson by BRUTAL KO
Anthony Johnson is the man. He is my pick to dethrone GSP once he finally gets a shot. I know relatively nothing about his opponent but Johnson's wrestling is world class and his striking is beautiful to watch. Not to mention he is a huge WW. Thats why I think he will beat GSP, he has the defense and strength to keep it standing and has the power to knock GSP the F out

Always Faithful
LOL that pic of rashad is funny as hell, that was a good fight though. I got money on Machida I lost $200 on the last fight with Rich and Belfort but I bet up $500 this round to make up for that. Machida the pee drinker is badass although shogun is dangerous as hell too I've just got a feeling Machida will take him out.

You'll defiantly make up for the loss if you bet on Machida! I like Shogun but, I just don't think he's got what it takes to dethrone Machida. He should give a good fight though.
