From an objective view point both parties here are at fault. If anyone wants a debate about this video I'm game because it's an interesting one...

But the pedo is the one who was coaxed into this trap, being coaxed into something is not the same as making advances yourself, it's almost like someone giving you a knife, putting a person right in front of you saying murder them, it's completely safe and you'll get away with it and the second you do it they turn around and say we caught you red handed.

From that you can lay a portion of the blame on both parties because the guy was a fault for going this far but at the same time the journalists are at fault for essentially providing peer pressure and pushing a guy to do something that he might never have done in the first place and they did that in the form of providing a 15 year old girl on the internet that was most likely pushing this guy to meet up or make sexual advances.

Do people see what I'm saying now?

Simply doing something like this does not prove what the guys original intentions were. Though we have to wonder seeing as this guy was in the right place at the right time to find a 15 year old girl.

Also am I the only person in the fucking world that doesn't Immediately start shouting "Shoot the dirty fucking pedo scum, castrate him" the second I see videos like this. Am I the only person able to take a step back and think about things objectively? I seriously fucking hope not otherwise I really have just lost faith in humanity.

Yeah he will get jailed for some years then he wont be allowed near children and he wont be able to work with them so really his best bet is to die in prison.

I completely agree with you, if he is willing to go that far regardless of whether or not he was coaxed into it he shouldn't be teaching or near children.

Just because you're baited to do something wrong, doesn't mean you should. Nor does it excuse the crime. Police and people have been doing stuff like this for a long time to pool out the pedophiles (I do however think that these guys should have handed this over to the authorities rather than get a cheap 1,000 views from it.). I'd rather have a creep like that busted for trying to have sex with a fake girl instead of him actually doing it with a real child, THEN getting caught. The fact that he's a teacher makes things even worse. The man is around minors for 7 hours a day. I wouldn't want my child around someone so easily manipulable. Lesson is don't think with the head inside your draws.

it really doesnt make a lot of difference, in your example if the person actually did stab and murder the other person they've still murdered someone. They'd still be punished for it. Whilst in most cases i think tricking someone into somethhing like this is wrong, there are cases where it is for the greater good of everyone for it to be done. I think this is one of those cases.

also its worth saying, the examples arent the same. in this case the guy was not pressured into anything and he truly believed he was talking to a 15 year old. The only difference is when he went to meet her, she wasnt there... admittedly it is a very awkward feeling you get, but that is only because you know hes been caught and that the consequences are very serious for him.
