I used to use a private torrent site, but I couldn't seem to seed. I don't know why :/

If you couldn't download or seed on the site it was most likely because you were using a banned client. I use uTorrent 2.2.1 simply because it's not banned on any private trackers and it doesn't have any extra bloat.
