It is and I love it.

Basically what happens is a bunch of people vote for a product they want. Then the site goes to the manufacturer and purchases them in bulk. After a few days I have seen savings from anywhere between 40%-70% off MSRP.

Make sure to go to the support text chat box and say "Snipesome (that annoying highschool kid) sent me"
Even if you aren't going to use the site. The tech support guy will get a laugh and I think you might too.

That a novel idea not sure it legit also wonder how they get the funds to buy in bulk to start with.

It is legit I have used it. What you have to do is you have to say you will buy it and fill out your credit card info. Then you aren't charged until the lowest price is hit. See you will see as more people sign up the percentage goes down and down. So you pay the lowest because as more people want in the bulk becomes larger and lower in cost. I explained this VERY vaguely because I am just typing it. Sorry for that.
