So I heard that if you are wearing a helmet when you are snowboarding, skiing, skating boarding etc and you fall on your head really hard that the helmet is no longer as safe and you should get a new one. I was snowboarding yesterday and trying to get my flips down better since it was the last day of the season and on my last attempt I ended up landing on my back and smacking my head really hard off of the landing of the jump. Luckily I was wearing a helmet because my head initially hurt really bad and I had a head ache for a few minutes. After a ride up the chairlift I felt normal continued boarding the rest of the day. This was defiantly the hardest I ever hit my head but I do not think I had a concussion. Should I get a new helmet?
