(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys, so I have a question i heard alot that a monitor is better to play on because of a low input lag.
But maybe there's someone out here that knows a brighter answer..

Less input lag, they also have a higher refresh rate, so they can handle higher fps without screen tear. Other than imput lag on console there really isn't much else. You get more benefits when gaming on a pc with one because most console games don't go above 60fps which most standard tvs can handle.

TVs and Monitors can be the same thing at the end of the day. The post above is not accurate in saying that monitors have higher refresh rates etc. It all depends on what monitor or TV you purchase. TV's can have 240Hz refresh rates while most monitors have 60 or 120. You can purchase 240Hz monitor as well. The only thing that might change is input lag as most TV's have slightly slower response rates, but you cannot notice these at all unless they go over 10 or so ms.

If you are playing on a console why get anything other than a TV? If you are playing on PC why get anything other than a monitor? Certainly you don't want to be gaming on a 55 inch TV when sitting at your desk while you're playing PC, and you certainty wouldn't want to use a 27 inch monitor to play Ps3 when sitting on your couch.

I find a MONITOR better for gaming but only for Gaming Set-up.
