(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It's been a couple of days since I made an actual discussion thread. So here it goes, I was at the movies today and saw the preview for Pacific Rim: It's a movie about "aliens" that attack our civilization. But when everyone thinks "aliens" they think of outer-space aliens. So what this movie did was base aliens that attack us from our own planet. But they come from, you guessed the Pacific Ocean. I love this. I just sat there and thought, this is what it's really going to be like.
90% of the ocean is yet to be explored. There could be "monsters" down there. Think of giant squid, we're just finding those. If you look at how meaningless squid are compared to the rest of sea-life. What could be there? Like giant sharks? Possibly, the curiosity is endless! We're spending money expanding out, when we don't even have our own planet figured out. So what do you guys think? Could something like this be real?
Trailer:
It's just hard to decide which 'aliens' are real, like, I watch so many shows and movies about this shit there's just so many different kinds of aliens lol.
But I do believe in them, or something like them, something that can and does control us... But I don't think they'll ever attack us, in out lifetime at least, cause if they wanted to, they would have done that already.
Did you listen to the preview? the one that i saw said that they came from a portal in the pacific ocean, not actually from the pacific ocean, so they would most likely be from another planet they just did not get here through space travel.
