(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm looking to buy a new rifle around the $200 - $400 range. I would like something accurate, and preferably bolt action. Can anyone give me any suggestions on a reliable brand or model. Thanks, - abb890

Oh so you're looking for a big powerful gun to compensate for the size of your pecker?

$200-$400... good luck. And obviously most bolt actions are cheaper then your gas operated rifles. Now it also depends on the caliber you end up buying and if you plan on getting a .338 lapua mag you can surely kiss that budget goodbye. But if I were you I'd look into .308 winchester for the cartridge. And as for the rifle brand, I'd look into Remington 700s. You can find them chambered in many different calibers which obviously would widen your price range.

The Remington 700's I have looked into before, but I've heard that they have safety issues. I'm looking for like a 30-06, 270, and even .223 would be fine. I know savages are good guns but I'm not familiar with some of the models they have. Well anyway thank you for your advice! It's nice to see someone who is actually helpful. Smile

At least I have one. Winky Winky Well all kidding aside, I'm looking for a serious answer. If you're not going to a serious one, then you're welcome to leave.

Already got one. Smile I love them, I'm just wanting something I can use with a good scope for 300 yards and farther.
