(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I can relate to just about every single on of you. I started gaming on cod4 spent hours upon hours glitching, learning strafe jumping, and everything there wasn't a glitch I didn't know. I didn't see much sun that summer. I took it even more seriously when World at War came out, getting into clans, video recording, buying a capture card and even my skill improved to the point of getting dogs against COREROCKBAND, and a few others among the top 15 in leader boards who glitched in Bootcamp on the opposing teams. ( I actually used a Thompson with stopping power drum mag as they juggernauted Mp40'd newbs. I even was the first to complete the first triple tank bounce. I competed on MW2 for sniping beating out british clans, winning over a 100 1v1's quickscoping. My skill plateaued during MW2. (Made a 4 part montage "Shinelow") I reflect back, did this better me? Well Black Ops came around and I was a part of a clan doing my thing, I lost interest. Although I learned After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut, I sorta phased out during this game.

Then I looked myself in mirror as corny as that is. I was 18 and was wasting my glorious teenage years on gaming. It engulfed me. I'm lucky my schooling didn't suffice, or my social skills didn't get affected. So many days gaming for what? I figure if I was productive doing something with all that time spent online I could've built a castle. I was also lucky because when I bought MW3 it killed my ps3, I had an xbox but there was no drive to buy mw3 for it. I began to be always working, and working out. My body from gaming wasn't the least bit aesthetic so I worked on that. Dropped 30lbs in 6 months, gained 30lbs back in 8 more months and shredded 15lb off in 3 months. Just in time for the trip of my lifetime.

I had planned for 6 years basically before cod4 was released to travel to England and around with my three buddies after highschool. I always worked part time so money wasn't an issue at partially saving for 6 years. I met a girl Amanda who worked with me at a kitchen who told me all these wonderful stories about Europe. I'm Canadian so this fascinated me. Still best friends with those guys she helped plan our trip. Within one month to departure, money issues for my friends fell into place. My one friend crashed his car and had to pay for it (he's alright though), my other friend was suppose to have his university payed for by the government because he is top glider pilot, but he payed for lazer eye and they needed to reassess his vision in 6 months. So he had to pay for uni + lazer eye. My last buddy deserves his school payed for with an average of 92+ % he didn't receive scholarship money and wont know till school if he does so he couldn't risk it. So that leaves me. Lone-wolfing Europe.

A random friend msg'd me asking if I wanna do Cuba this winter I say mayybe but do you wanna go to Europe in a few weeks?" he said yes and took out a student line of credit to go to 5 cities with me. (the guy at the beginning of the video)

I planned to go to 11 cities and 9 countries. I ended up travelling to 23 cities and 12 countries. I loved it. Over a month by myself @ 19 y/o. The whole trip was 43 days. Every moment was a story. From dance battling swiss gangsters to going on a date with an Australian actress.

Keep in mind there is a world out there!

Great thread, I can for sure relate. Although I'm not as far along in my story as you seem to be.

Congrats on getting out there. I'm guessing for quite a few though, they can't just pickup and go. Still, looked fun Smile
