(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I know theres probably a lot of us whose schools use Accelerated Reader and have Summer Reading due in soon. Well theres a little thing that I have figured out with Accelerated Reader if your school uses that listen up.

Accelerated Reader has an app which you can go on and take quizzes for the iPhone and iPad sorry not on Google Play. But anyway to take the quizzes you must have your schools code for AR well only like school administrators and such have that but the thing is if you call up this number (800) 338-4204 which is Renaissance Learning's toll free number you can just act like a teacher from your school and you can get the code. All I did was say something like this:

"Hello I am Mr. Blah from Blah Academy and we are having some computer issues and we need the Accelerated Reader code so that we can have some of our students take their summer reading quizzes on some of our iPads."

They should then ask the school zip code to find the school. Tell them it and just answer their questions like they will ask you if you are a teacher that works at the school currently etc. and they should give you the code.

You can now go take quizzes on your iPhone or iPad and just google the answers as you go. Awesome face

Interesting. I wish they had this when I was in school because the one thing that sucked was summer reading. What really got me going was the ironic idiom "Have a good one" since the teachers were referring to summer break. The ironic part is quite obvious, but for those of you who still don't get it.... Your English teacher would tell you to have a good summer, yet you will have to worry about reading some books from the stupid summer reading list, do a project, and then take a quiz once you got back to school around August/September.

Anyway nice post Grumpy, I still have some friends who are in school taking English who have their summer reading to do. I'll definitely tell them about this. :y:
