Ok so im preddie much asking anyone with knowledge of this shit for help. Not too long ago ( A month or 2 ) i found an adult chevron tarantula on my curtain. i captured it and handed it over to my school's sci department . I thought it was like a 1 time thing cuz i live close to mountains etc but i just found another one, way smaller but similar , that dropped off my wall which i sprayed the shit out of with pesticide. Im afraid i might find a 3rd lurking in my shoe or clothes and may not be as lucky as before.
Questions - Can that shit live in houses? how much eggs do they lay and what would you do in this situation? Help greatly accepted.
Do you know what species it was?
If so may not be a real risk from the venom nobody has died from a bite.
I don't know much apart from they are nocturnal , also pretty good at killing rodents along with other things.
Not sure but I think the right way is putting them into a jar by leading it into it and closing the lid. Letting it go or handing it over to your school lab again. As much I dislike spider I rather catch it and let it go over kill it.
