(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've seen a ton of different sports talked about here (Basketball, Baseball, Football, Ect) I've NEVER seen anyone talk about golf, so does anyone play it?

I've been playing since I was a little kid and now I actually work on a course that my parents own.

Yeah I play it occasionally. It's quite a good bit of craic when you're playing it, not the best to watch though.

I used to play atleast once a week, personally golf is my favourite sport!! My short game is the best as im quite accurate with irons and can read greens quite well from a distance, as for my drive id say im just ok, i have to risk accuracy for distance and if it goes wrong it goes horribly wrong lol. Im also pretty good with a putter i seem to be able to find the right line just struggle a little with strength especially on downhill putting.

How about you?

I really don't have a specific area I'm weak in, meaning I struggle with everything equally. My problem is I don't get to play enough. I only play once a week living on a course that isn't very much. I've been struggling to lower my scores since I was a freshman in high school (Just graduated) and I usually shoot around 75 if I take it serious and don't do try dumb shots.

No it's alright, he's obviously just an ignorant little kid. I negged him for his comment, and he "neg4negged bud" me. Typical day on ngu.

Hi, I don't like you
Golf is a sport I would give anything to play. The money involved and the beautiful places they get to play, can do a helluva lot worse.

I used to play when I was young, but not anymore. I was pretty good and actually competed in the callaway junior world golf championships a couple of times. I regret quitting tho because my friend who i used to compete/practice with stuck with golf and just turned pro last year and just recently won a tournament last month (cash prize was $20k).

Honestly golf is the best sport that you can go pro in... you cant get any major injuries, if your really good the endorsements pay you a chit ton of money, get to travel the world to play different courses, it's easy money, classy sport, etc.

It is easy money if you win. There are a ton of pros that live in their cars tho. And many tours smaller then the PGA that don't pay quite as much. It can be a struggle if you can't win.

I actually started golfing when I was about 12. I usually try to get out on the golf course about 1 to 2 times a week. I usually don't get the best scores because my short game sucks.
