Didn't people say this about Heath Ledger?

still don't understand what's wrong with having him as Bruce Wayne/Batman? internet is just full of sheep.

Looking forward to what he does as an actor he had some low points.

This happened when Heath Ledger was Joker. He is/was the best character to play the Joker in the batman series. Ben Affleck(can't believe I'm saying this) could be actually a good character for this role. Everyone needs a shot and I doubt that petition will do anything. It's petty to them.

Relax everyone. If he hadn't of proven himself for the movie he would not have been chosen. The Dark Knight Rises grossed a little under half a billion, clearly they would choose the role carefully.

Okay, it's been stated in post prior to this that there was a petition for Heath Ledger... well he played the role of The Joker quite well. I don't care for Ben Affleck all that much but let him take the role. I mean he didn't do too bad in the movie Armageddon, if anything he isn't too bad of an actor.
