Seatbelt? Id much prefer a harness in my car to be super safe, lol. But seriously, thats real rough luck, but just goes to show however annoying them tv ads get about wearing your seatbelt, they are actually they saviour between life and death in an accident. Dont be stupid and show off not wearing it because its always best to be safe than sorry.

Yeah, I always put on seat belt. I don't know what it is, but I've been in the habit of buckling up, so I thank my parents for always making me do so.

To use a race harness in a street car, you'd need a rollcage, unless you want to die in an accident. To have a rollcage, you'd need to wear a helmet or you'll die in an accident. I don't get your logic. Harness without cage is very unsafe. Cage without helmet is very unsafe. Wearing a helmet in everyday driving is just stupid, so just stick with the regular belt and don't have a bad time.

And wear a helmet when you skateboard/use a bike, or else if you get in a accident, you would break your head.

no mate wearing a 3 or 4 point harness (5 points not needed ) in a street car is a very good idea and is in no way dangerous, also a roll cage is a good idea and is perfectly safe ( as the cage is made so that you would not hit with your head in an accident ) not sure if youve ever been in a supercar or even alot of sports cars, but most come with both a roll cage and harness and none recomend you to wear a helmet. so please could you tell me haw it would be stupid ?

Wearing any kind of harness is stupid on the street. In a rollover accident, you need to lower your profile so you don't get crushed by the roof. With a harness, you're locked into an upright position and would get killed when the roof collapses. It's called a racing harness for a reason, why would anybody want to even wear one on the street? Any proper rollcage has to go across the roofline completely to be useful, so you will hit your head on a proper rollgage. A rollcage where you won't hit your head doesn't go across the roofline completely so it won't fully protect the driver in an accident. I own a supercar and it has no rollcage or harness, I wouldn't want one either.

I wear seat belts when driving and helmets when I ride my bikes, but when I ride my bicycle and go around doing shit I don't wear a helmet at all. One time I busted my head open and went to the hospital to get it stapled up, but other than that I was completely fine. Although I am one to preach one thing and do another, I should have wore a helmet lol. Definitely would have saved some time and blood haha.

All in all it's hard to get people to do things that otherwise would prevent situations in the future until they've experienced it for themselves. :y:
