Can’t trickshot me!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If anybody has played Saints Row: TT will see that I am telling the truth. Saints Row 4 is the same exact game, It's Saints Row 3 with only DLC. The reason I say this is I encountered a menu glitch while checking the map and I saw some interesting things.. Have a look.

Firstly, there is no Luchadores in SR:4, only SR:TT and it is displayed Luchadores: 55% over their territory in SR: TT, also you can see the STAG symbol top left, no sign of STAG anywhere in SR:4 (only mentions of STAG) and it says "SELECT HOOD TO TAKEOVER" that is from SR:TT, in a mission you get that exact symbol if you choose to takeover a hood option in a mission.. So my conclusion is that Saints Row: 4 is Saints Row: TT

In Flames Much?
It was meant to be DLC but turned out to big for release as DLC. So they made a new game.
Some people have stated that feels more like an addon but it got enough changes that it feels like a new game.
Strange they decided to leave a couple testing things in but after THQ went under not shocked. The game was almost done when that happened.

I’m too L33T
To be totally honest they should of just made it DLC and left it there. SR will never be the same. SR1/2 were awesome, SR3 kind of showed the stupid side and more unrealistic approach i mean yes Saints Row is about having fun but they took it too far and ruined it, i didn't bother buying SR4 because of the reviews and people saying how bad it is. But Shows how much they actually bothered with it if they leave stuff like this in.

Well done for capturing it!

Do you see where I'm coming from? People who bought SR4 (including myself) bought Saints Row 3 with DLC. You can see it's Saints Row 3.

Yea I get your point.
From the reviews I have seen so far people think they done enough. Some are disappointed with it.

Today Will Be Different
Well in the aspect of game development you could say this with all the Call of Duty titles along with the Battlefield titles. They're all copy and pasted to an extent, what they add in and the time they spend developing is also a factor. As mentioned by RTS the original plan was another DLC, but it was just way too big to be another DLC. So they made it into a whole new game itself.

With respect to other titles, one could say that Battlefield 4 is the same game as Battlefield 3, it just has levolution, more vehicles and a whole new hud and plethora of additions that makes it a different title such as maps etc. People are just giving Saints Row more hell than other games because people have these expectations that the next game was going to be insanely different.

As for the mentioning of STAG in the pause menu or wherever you found that, STAG was featured in the very first mission/quest. You were killing 'rogue' soldiers from STAG and you eventually ended up killing Cyrus Temple. So the whole STAG part makes sense, as for the Luchadores I see where you're coming from. And again, the point is that you can't expect them to make a game from scratch when they already have a 'base' to start from.
