What kind of genetic modification?

I think it is ethical yes, but it depends what you want to do.

I don't feel like there is a correct answer here, it would depend on everyone involved's opinion.

You talkin to me?
Depends on what kind of modification, really. Like if it were just like perfect health.. then its fine. But if it was .. say to be amazing at sports no because first, it is an unfair advantage to the people who can not afford it... and there would be almost no point to live if you were perfect in everything you do you basically would not even have to do anything and still be better then everyone...

In Flames Much?
If it's to save somebody from the pain caused by something yes.
Said that without that pain that person may not go on do great things some of the greatest minds had some great health problems.
It's a hard to answer question.

Worth the Weight
I believe that unless there is some actual reason to do so, for example ensuring that the child is born healthy then yes, I don't see why not. However, if it was used to create "super" babies that excel at things such as sports/school etc. then I would not support it.

You know why people would not support this, Well let me explain my self. People don't like to be less than other they always like to have everything for then self and nothing for other, so If there is a baby with a unic power, like super intelligence, or nonhuman muscle power we (others without the power) would be life, "no this is wrong, its a unfair advantage". Well, if I said that I would mind I would be lying, I don't want no baby to be talking or walking, I want to be the first but that doesn't mean that I won't let science expand and develop in the genetically modification. And Also from another point of view it wouldn't be ethical because the company that made it would own the baby, and that goes against the human right.

I think it would be cool, but then again fucking with genetics is not a good idea something major can happen and fuck it up.
