I don't have any friends that are girls, And girls barely ever talk to me. I don't understand why though it's not like i'm some "nerd" or anything. I play 3 sports, I get average grades in school (about 85-90), and I wear good clothes. I've only had 2 girl friends in my whole life, 1 lasted about a month but she was prude as hell, and the other lasted about 2-3 months but she later dumped me for another guy. I'm 14. Does anyone know how I can gain more 'popularity' in school?

If you're being yourself and girls aren't too interested in you, I wouldn't be too bothered. I would wait until your about 16 and going out to parties to pick up girls.

Don't wait for girls to make moves on you, just be confident and smell good xD

I'm not really concerned about getting a girlfriend, I just want more girl 'friends'. The thing is, I have 2 different groups of friends. One of them hangs out with all the popular, slutty girls. And the other one hangs out with all the Preppy, sporty girls. And i'm kinda in the middle. My ex was one of the preppy sporty girls but It was weird cuz we never talked beforehand and I asked her out and everything just moved to fast.

Girls will never make the first move. YOU have to make the move. You go up to them, say hi, tell them your name and you would like to know more about them. Name, grade, etc just go with the flow. Dont be afraid of rejection, because even if they reject you there is other fish in the sea.

This post is really ironic because I just did ^^ today. She is a hot new sophmore and it worked like a charm. I am going back tomorrow, flirt with her and invite her to a Halloween party this weekend.

Oh and above all confidence is key. Guys like looks, girls like confidence, in my experience.

Go out with friends, and ask them to tell their friends to meet up with you all. Most of the time they bring girlfriends, and come on girls can't be without another girl, so there is 1 girl in your grasp . The more people the more girls.

Yeah just have confidence. You have to go up to the girl. You make the move. and yeah smell nice xD. So yeah talk to a girl. if she doesnt like you than move on!

Maybe you may not be a nerd, but have you considered the people you hang out with to be geeks/ nerds, that affects your appearance believe it or not, if you hang out with funny people than people would consider you funny, or if you hang out with nerds, they consider you nerd, if you hang out with emos, you are considered emo.

Also you are most likely to be shy, if your friends are good with girls, dont be afraid to ask them to hook you up, or maybe if your friend is good friends with another girl you can talk to them, but don't but in with their conversations, you have to like play it smooth, if the girl hangs out with other girls you may want to become friends with that girl and once she trusts you just ask her if one of her friends likes you whatever.

Also girls like when guys have achieved something, so if you have kicked someones ass, girls would most likely think you are tough, if you are the team player, tey will think as you as brave or athletic. For me it's not that hard to get girls because I go to a technology only school, and there are some pretty HOT girls that like technology so I usually help them if they have trouble. Just don't try too hard because you might make them think you are perverted.
