Post: Nike Reveals Limited-Edition Basketball Sneakers that Only NBA 2K14 Players Can Buy

In honor of Lebron James gracing the cover of NBA 2K14, Nike Basketball, 2K Sports and Visual Concepts came together to make available a real pair of Lebron11 basketball sneakers to people who completed milestones in the game; making it the first-ever physical basketball shoe that could be earned through game play. Sneakerheads rejoice.
With a production run limited to 2,014 pairs, the only people to get the opportunity to buy the shoes would be a special group of NBA 2K14 players.
Those milestones included playing a minimum of 60 games in the MyCareer mode, earning an elite ranking, creating a shoe inside the game’s Nike Innovation Kitchen and choosing the Nike sponsorship path.
According to Nike, the goals required a total of about 80 hours of playtime.
Players who fulfilled the requirements had a chance at being part of the group who could pre-order the $220 pair of shoes.
Designed by Nike, the LeBron11 features a jungle print and a crimson upper portion that are meant to “[symbolize] the heart of a lion.”
Nike is notifying the 2,014 lucky individuals, and the sneakers will ship out soon.

I am going to get 2k15 and play 80 hours the first 3 days its released so I can get the KD NBA 2k15 shoe than resell them. Trust me this shoe will go for 2k easy on ebay with it being so limited and not released to the general public. This shoe would be hard to pull off to be honest with the Lion print on it most lion print shoes are girl shoes, I can see most people reselling these to hard for guys to pull off animal prints. I would probably give these to my girl if I won these lol I already have too many pairs of shoes and she could rock these better than I would lol.

Those are a little toned down from the lebron tiger print not as evident, but still kind of looks like a girls shoe even though they are men I guess if you can pull it off go for it. I know some that can pull off wearing full on leopard shoes that girls wear those vans. They make wearing that type of stuff look easy just have to have the right apparel to match the shoes. Not going to call anyone out for that I have a pair of these You must login or register to view this content. now usually floral is a girl thing, but these are easy to pull off with jeans now with shorts ehhh not as easy. I guess if you have the right looks I bet some guys can pull off these Tiger Print Lebrons, but I for one wont be seen wearing these even if I won them.
