An hour later, The four of them are on their way to where Elfmotat is hanging out. Drones are seen flying by while Peace troopers are all around. “Maybe its me but you guys really think it’s a good idea walking around with a guy who just blew up a building?” Asked Lasthope. “on’t forget he also killed hmm eight Peace troopers, oh and participated in a bar fight.” Said Coltz. “This day just keeps getting better.” Remarked Lasthope sarcastically. As they walk several Peace troopers turn start to look at the group suspiciously. They keep moving as they try to ignore the peace troopers around them.
Some troopers start to follow them from behind, making sure they keep their distance from the group. The group soon comes to an alley. Even though the alley is not the way to where Elfmotat is, they decide to turn into it. As they keep walking, troopers follow behind. “I really don’t feel like running right now.” Says Lasthope under his breath. Soon they take off. As they do the peace trooper start running after them. As the group heads for the end of the alley, three triangle shaped drones with round edges and two circulating blades on the outside for balance, flight, and movement drop down in front of them. The group soon stops at the site of the drones. The sides of the drones open up revealing mini gun turrets. The peace troopers behind them are catching up.
“You think you can stop their gun fire Coltz?” asked Outsider. “Possibly but it’ll be hard.” Replies Coltz. “Yeah that’s nice.” Remarked Matt. Matt moves towards the two drones. One of the drones orders Matt to surrender or they will open fire on him. From behind, the troopers are catching up. Suddenly, Matt grabs both drones by the barrels of their turrets. The drones start firing wildly in all direction, which causes the group to get down. Matt, still holding the barrels smash the drone into each other. The rest of the team gets up, amazed at what Matt just did. Matt suit is covered with bullet holes with no sign of injuries; his left shoulder however soon starts to bleed, along with his left hand. “idn’t that hurt?” Asked Coltz. “Pain is just a state of mind” Replied Matt
“Lets go.” Orders Matt. The group soon takes off. They head down a block and down another alley and back onto a street. Sirens are heard coming towards the group. A light from above centers on them. The team looks up and discovers that the light is coming from a helicopter. Ten peace troopers lower down from two helicopters in front of the team. The team charge toward the troopers. Lasthope pulls out his knife and stabs on of the troopers. Matt Pulls out both his pistols, he throws one to outsider. They both take aim at a trooper and shoot them down. Coltz while blocking the shots, ignore the troopers and grabs hold of one of the lines that a trooper just repelled down and starts to climb up.
A trooper soon spots Coltz, before he can get a shot off Matt grabs his gun from him and hits him hard with it. Lasthope engages in a hand to hand battle with one of the troopers. Another trooper grabs Lasthope from behind, as the trooper moves in to deal a powerful blow to Lasthope, Lasthope drops to the floor. He then flips the trooper holding him over his back. Lasthope pulls out his gun and shoots the trooper standing. Matt and outsider take care of the remaining troopers.
Coltz manages to get inside the helicopter. The pilot pulls out his gun but Coltz knocks it out of his hand before he can aim it and then knocks him out. He lowers the helicopter so the rest of the team can get in. The team enters the helicopter and fly off. “Since when do you know how to fly?” asked Outsider. “Forgot. Now shut up and hold on.” Replied Coltz. Two helicopters soon start to follow them. Coltz tries to loose them but can’t seem to shake them. “Okay, this is getting boring. I have to loose these bitches before more show up. Everyone hold on. This is gonna hurt.” Says Coltz. Coltz starts to descend with the other choppers start to shoot. Just ahead of the team are two buildings with an opening not big enough for a chopper to fly through. “You better start pulling up” Says Outsider. “That’s why I said its gonna hurt.” Replies Coltz. Coltz flies toward the narrow opening of the two buildings. The propellers of the choppers break off while the rest of the chopper glides for awhile before falling and crashing into a wall. The other two choppers avoid the buildings and fly off into the distance. Coltz kicks down the side door of the crashed chopper. The rest exit the crashed chopper all battered and bruise. “Your one crazy mother****er Coltz.” Said Lasthope while rubbing his neck. “Good news is were here.” Said Matt looking unhurt by what just happened while pointing at a small clinic.
The team head inside the clinic, everyone turns around and looks at them before ignoring them again. Coltz and Outsider go to talk to the receptionist while Lasthope gets a snack from the vending machine and Matt makes sure there are no Peace troopers around and disconnect the security cam to be safe. “Um excuse me miss but may we speak to um, hey hope what’s elfmotat’s real name” Asked Outsider. “Who Elfmotat? It’s Jack ” Replied Lasthope while banging the vending machine to get his snack. “Um yeah may we speak to Jack.” Asked Outsider to the receptionist.
The receptionist looks at Outsider with a dull look and then goes back to reading her magazine. “Can you please get Jack now.” Asked Outsider. “Sir, I’m gonna have to ask you to leave before you get hurt.” Replied the Receptionist as she slowly pulls a gun from under her desk. Just when she is about to pull out her gun completely, a man comes thought the back door wearing a doctors coat with a brown button up shirt with a black tie and black pants. “Liz, What did I tell you? Asked the man. “Not to shoot the guests” Said Liz sadly.
The man looks up at Outsider and Coltz standing at the desk. “Travis, haven’t seen you in awhile, and JR, you still a crazy mofo.” Said the man. “Yes, he is” Said Lasthope still trying to get a snack. “o we know you, and how do you know my real name?” Asked Outsider. “I was the medic for squad 56-B along with Coltz here. We accompany your team across the Amazon River during the mission delta assault. ”Said the man. “Yeah now I remember you, best dam medic I ever saw. How’s life treating you now Elfmotat.” Said Coltz.
“Been better. Dam taxes making it hard to keep this place open.” Replied Elfmotat. “We were wondering if you like to join our team we’re putting together, we want to bring down Lionel.” Said Outsider. Elfmotat after hearing this smiles and says, “**** yeah!” “Hey bitches, can we move this conversation somewhere else. Some peace troopers are headed this way” Said Matt. “Yeah sure, we can talk more in the back and even treat your wounds, come. Oh and Liz don’t shoot the troopers, yet.” Said Elfmotat.
They all head toward the back except for Lasthope who is still trying to get his snack. They turn around to see why he isn’t coming and Coltz asked, “you coming Hope?” Lasthope looks up at him and says, “huh? Oh yeah just give me one sec.” He the pulls out his gun and starts shooting at the vending machine, his gun runs out. Lasthope then kicks in the remaining glass of the vending machine and grabs a candy bar that hasn’t been damage of have any pieces of glass in it and proceeds to eat it. Everyone else starts to look at him with a little fear and amazement. Matt shakes his head in embarrassment while Elfmotat start laughing. Lasthope then looks around at all the people and finally at his team. He stops chewing for a sec then starts again and says “what, I was hungry and I just came from a chopper crash, leave me alone.” Elfmotat continues to laugh and says, “I see you haven’t change one bit.” “I guess, oh and by the way your machine seems to be broken.” Says Lasthope.
Elfmotat begins to check them for any major trauma or broken bones. “So what made you decide to turn against them?” Elfmotat asked Outsider. “Got tired of them telling me what to do, I was nothing more then a killing machine rather then a person.” Said Outsider. “Please, we were all consider nothing more then objects. Not to mention when I was stationed with you, you didn’t seem to mine it much saying its better then being in the slums.
So tell me the real reason.” Outsider looks down with a depress look on his face. He soon starts hearing sounds of people screaming and explosions. He also hears a woman begging for him to help her. “Hey, hey outsider you okay man?” Asked Elfmotat with a concerned look on his face. Outsider looks around for a sec to see where he is, and realizes that it was just all in his head as he sees elfmotat, Matt, and Coltz looking at him with some concern. Then he finally sees Lasthope sitting on a chair enjoying his chocolate bar with his feet up a desk before turning back to Elfmotat. “Umm yeah, I was just thinking. But yeah that was the real reason why I left.” Said Outsider.
“Well you seem to be good, a few cuts and bruises but no major injuries.” Said Elfmotat. “So, are you gonna help us?” asked Coltz. Elfmotat goes to a cabinet and pulls out some bottle of pills. “I guess the other doctors here can survive without me, not that busy here anyway. Sure, I can help. Here take these, it’ll help with any pain you guys might have”. Said Elfmotat. Elfmotat looks at Matt’s bleeding shoulder and hand. “Matt, lets go in the other room. I’ll fix that shoulder and hand of yours.” Said elfmotat with a smile. “That’s what you get for trying to take down two drones with your hands. You get shot at. Hope you learned your lesson.” Said Lasthope with a small grin. “Shut up before I shoot you.” Said Matt not amuse at Lasthope. Matt then goes with Elfmotat to get fixed up.
“Okay so who else do we know that could help us bring down da man and doesn’t mind being labeled a trader and hunted down like a dog? Asked Lasthope. Coltz thinks for a second, and looks outside before asking Outsider, “what part of town are we in?” Outsider thinks for a sec and responds, “Lions den district, why?” “Cause, I might know someone who could help, come. Oh and Hope, stay here and tell Elfmotat and Matt we went down to the gym on Dims Street. Okay.” Said Coltz. “Fine, but pick me up a playboy magazine on the way back.” Said Lasthope.
Outsider and Coltz head out of the clinic and down the street. Behind them they can hear the sounds of sirens from the site where the chopper crashed. The two of them soon turn a corner and disappear out of sight form the troopers. They walk for about two blocks when they reach an old building with the words The Man gym in big rusted letters on the side of the building. “This place could use a makeover.” Said Outsider. “It looks better on the inside, trust me.” Said Coltz. The two of them start to head inside. As the two enter, Outsider is amaze on how it looks on the inside. With white, clean walls, a polish wooden floor, and a painted ceiling of to men in a sword fight. Theirs also a nice garden on the other side of the building, with a sky dome above to allow sun light for the plant life and fountain in the middle where people can be seen talking.
“Wish the gym I work out in looked this nice.” Said Outsider. “Yeah well this is a different type of gym. This is the place I learned the art of Punto Di Arresto.” Said Coltz. “Punto Di Arresto. What’s that?” A man with long hair and glasses who’s wearing a black silk robe holding a katana appears from behind them and says with a deep voice, “It’s the art of dodging bullets and deflecting them. Hi my name is Nick, I’m one of the trainers here how may I help you.“ He extends his right hand out, Coltz shakes his hand and says “I’m…” but before he can say anymore, Nick interrupts him and says “Coltz, Been awhile since you were here. What may I do for you.”
“We need you and Dustin to help us take down Grand Telos.” Said Coltz. Nick looks at Coltz for a minute figuring out if he’s really serious. After a second or two he calls for Dustin. “What up.” Said a man that appeared out of know where beside Nick.
The man has blue eyes with blond short hair. He has a white shirt on with a long sleeve on his left arm and black gloves with combat boots and black army pants with a samurai sword on his back. A small scar on the left side of his chin can be seen also. “How did you get here?” Asked Outsider a little confused.
“ustin here can move fast.” Said nick. “How fast?” Asked Outsider. “As fast as light.” said Dustin with a smile. “How can you move so fast?” Asked Outsider. “Well, About a year ago. My legs were badly damage in an explosion out in the Sierra Desert; I was stationed there for about four month. Some rebels were reported there and I was assign to terminate them. So my legs were damage by a land mine but they were healed, short of. They started to hurt after awhile, to a point where it was getting hard to walk. So a two months ago I went to go see a guy who could replace my legs with robotics. Apparently he did the same thing to some ex trooper but to a higher degree. So he replace my legs with new ones and my left arm and right eye. So now I can go really fast.” Responded Dustin. “That’s cool I guess but why he replace your left arm and leg? Did they get injured?” asked Outsider. “No, I just thought it be cool, but my legs have a limit. If I run light speed fast for to long, my legs will heat up and explode, and kill me. So I have this meter on my arm to tell me if they’re heating up.” Replied Dustin as he pulls up hid sleeve. “These two want our help taking down Grand Telos. Want to?” Asked Nick. Dustin thinks for a sec and says, “Sure why not. Lets see if Fire wants to help out shall we.” “Who’s Fire?” Asked Coltz.
“Wait and find out.” Said Nick. Dustin leads the way everyone soon follows behind. They walk pass the fountain and down a small hall. They soon reach a mirror at the end of the hall. Dustin lifts part of the wallpaper, which reveals a small green button. He then pushes it. The mirror opens up revealing another room. It’s a decent size room. With white walls and a polish wooden floor, there is however a white circle painted on the ground. On the opposite side of the room is a man sitting on the floor with his eyes shut. The only thing he is wearing are sweat pants.
“Yo fire, we got guest.” Said Dustin. Fire opens his eye revealing he is lacking an iris, pupil, lens, and cornea on both eyeballs. “What’s up with his eyes. How come they look like that?” asked Coltz. “He’s part of the Dios Humanos clan located somewhere in Spain. They were a group of people who were shall we say were gifted. They could do things that would amaze you.” Said Outsider. “Yeah, how’s you know?” Asked Nick. “I was suppose to go to there village and kill them but I told them that no army in the world could stop them after I went their to see how big a threat they could really be. Once I told them this, they decided to cancel the attack and just bomb them instead.” Said Outsider sadly. “Wait so what can they do then?” asked Coltz.
Outsider pulls out the gun Matt gave him and hands it to Coltz and says, “here, shoot him.” Coltz looks at Outsider as though he just snapped. “ude its okay. Just shoot him.” Said Dustin. Coltz hesitates for a minute but finally points the gun at Fire who is still sitting there relaxed. Coltz stands there still pointing the gun at Fire. He looks at Nick who seems calm about the whole thing. Coltz then pulls the trigger.
Coltz then drops the gun and backs away looking at the gun thinking about how he just shot someone who didn’t do anything wrong. He then looks up and sees Fire still sitting there uninjured. Amazed, Coltz looks closer to see if he miss and notices that the bullet has stopped in mid air a few inches away from where fire is sitting. The bullet then drops to the ground. “How, how did he do that?” asked Coltz amaze at what he just saw. “The human body is complicated thing. Some say the people of the Dios Humanos clan simply evolved to a more amazing species, others say there not even from earth.” Said Dustin. “They can do a lot more then stop a peace of lead, they can create force fields, control objects with there minds, and even create these blue energy spheres in the palm of there hands which they can throw at people. I hate it when they did that to me.” Remarked Outsider.
“Yeah so fire, me and nick are going to help them take down Grand Telos, Wanna help?” asked Dustin. “A chance to kill the people who destroyed my village. Theirs nothing else I would wanna do besides that.” Said Fire coldly. “Okay well I’m going to go change into my black armored suit and tell them we’re leaving.” Said nick. They soon head down the hall, which they came from. Nick goes to change quickly and tell one of the other trainers that they’re leaving and won’t be back for a long time and soon head out the door. The five of them start to walk back to the clinic where Matt, Elfmotat, and Coltz are waiting.
“So how does Punto Di Arresto work?” asked Outsider as they walked. “Its pretty much the stopping of time, shorta. Well you know how when you free fall, time slows down. That can be controlled. It take a lot of work to do though, a lot of concentration and will. Once you learn it though you can pretty much pause, rewind, and slow down time.” Said Nick. “It’s like having TiVo inside your head. ****ing awesome.” Said Dustin with a large grin. “Yeah same thing pretty much. Though your body cannot move faster cause of it. Your body moves at the same rate it would in real time and that’s why you have to have great reflexes, be coordinated, and strong.” Said Coltz.
“That’s why only eight people know how to do this art correctly.” Said Nick. “Who are the eight?” asked Outsider. “Well me, Coltz, Nick, the two guys at he gym named Krizor and Hank, um this old guy name Sifo in Australia, a bounty hunter named Wild Catt. She maybe one of the best one at Punto Di Arresto and she also uses a cane sword, oh and that guy over there.” Said Dustin Pointing at a man in an elite soldier’s armor with 15 peace troopers behind him.
“You know Outsider, you and your little friends have been causing me problems today. I mean with you going rogue, blowing up an important building of ours, killing my men, oh and destroying one of our choppers. Oh and look you’re protecting one of those dam people with the white eyes. You know that there all suppose to be dead. I guess I’ll have to finish him off like I did with the others like him.” Said the elite soldier. Fire looks at the elite soldier with anger. A blue energy sphere soon forms in Fires left hand. He throws it directly at the soldier. The soldier ducks causing the sphere to hit a Peace trooper behind him.
He looks behind him and sees the fallen Peace trooper and then looks at Fire who stares at him angrily. “Oh you shouldn’t have done that. Now you all die.” Says the soldier furiously. The fourteen peace troopers start to shoot at them while the elite soldier charges them. Dustin, Nick, and Coltz pull out their swords and start blocking the shots. Fire holds out his hand and start moving forward; the shots fired at him simple drop to the ground. Outsider charges at the elite soldiers. The soldier gets ready to punch outsider but he moves under the punch and elbows him in the back.
Fire moves closer to the peace troopers, one of them pulls out a knife and tries to stab him. Fire first breaks the hand he’s holding the knife with and then grabs his neck. He then produces an energy sphere and pushes it through the soldier. He screams in agony as it kills him. Once the energy sphere goes through the trooper, Fire pulls it out of him and throws it at another trooper. Dustin moves to the side of one of the troopers, he then waves at one of them. The trooper points at him and begins to shoot. Dustin moves away causing the trooper to shoot down his own. The trooper is stun at what just happen, at that moment Nick charges at him and cuts off his head while Coltz slashes down a guy who was about to shoot him. Outsider and the elite soldier are busy in hand to hand combat.
Know matter what Outsider tries to do, the elite soldier blocks all his moves. He tries to kick him in the stomach only to get his leg caught and elbowed in the thigh. While that’s happening, Dustin starts blocking a trooper gun fire as he move closer to him, the trooper making sure he keeps his distance from Dustin. Dustin moves To the side of the trooper leaving a huge crack in the floor where he once stand The trooper stumbles back after seeing Dustin right next to him. Dustin grabs him and throws him at another trooper who was busy shooting at fire. Dustin then moves over them before they can even blink and plunges his sword into them.
As Dustin does this, a soldier behind him gets ready to stab him. Fire throws an energy sphere at the trooper before he can. Dustin then throws his sword towards Fire but He ducks in time. The sword hits a trooper who was about to shoot him at close distance. “I could have kill him, you do know that right.” Said Fire. “Well I couldn’t let you have all the fun.” Said Dustin. Soon Troopers surround Coltz and Nick.
They begin to block the shots but know that they can’t keep it up for long. Fire Moves and plunges energy spheres through two of the troopers. Dustin grabs his sword and runs toward the troopers making sure not to go to fast or risk his legs blowing up. Coltz block a troopers shots and drops to the floor while at the same time pulling out his gun. The guy looks down to see Coltz pointing a gun at him, before he can shoot, Coltz fires and kills him. Dustin leaps over one of the troopers and plunges his sword into another. Nick slashes his sword into one of the troopers and grabs the last one and forces him into one of Fires energy spheres.
They turn around to see Outsider and the elite soldier fighting. Outsider is able to block his punches. He grabs the elite soldiers arm as he tries to force him down but the soldier counters it by punching outsider with his free hand. Outsider becomes dazed, the soldier then starts punching him violently and finally kneeing him in the stomach. He stands over Outsider and pulls out his gun and says, “You loose.” But before he can pull the trigger, Outsider kicks the gun out of his hand and then kicks him hard on the side of the knee causing him to stumble.
Outsider gets up quickly and deliver a kick to the head and says, “you will never win.” Outsider then walks back to the group. “When I find you again, I’ll kill you then and there.” Said the elite soldier as the group walks back to the clinic. Outsider Stops, turns, and look at the soldier and says, “I’ll be waiting for you Bravo.” Before walking away. After walking for awhile they arrive at the clinic. They head to the back. “So where did you guys go?” asked elfmotat. “own to the old gym, just like we told Lasthope.” Said Outsider. “He didn’t tell us anything.” Said Elfmotat as he and the rest look at Lasthope reading an old magazine. Lasthope looks up at them and says, “Oh hey Matt, Elfmotat, Outsider and Coltz went down to that old gym on dims Street. So Outsider where my magazine.” Said Lasthope with a grin. Outsider looks at him for a sec and then slaps him on the back of the
head.
