So i thought of creating a thread like this,if anyone has the same problem,he can freely post it here.
I ll go,
I am 17 and well i stutter on ocassioans, its not a huge problem but sometimes it can downgrade you.
I had stuttering since 6th or 7th grade and it still didnt go,the funny part is that i never stutter when i m talking to myself(yes, its not weird :P ).I stutter a little bit when i m talking with my friends, but rarely.Real problems comes when i have to speak in front of everyone, again i dont stutter always but there are times when i do.

Now your try guys !

I don't really stutter, but I find it difficult to get my choice of words sometimes. With me, I like to use big words and whatnot, just my style of speaking, and sometimes it's hard to grasp that word. Other than that, I don't really stutter, but I know a lot of people that do.

I had a relative that stuttered all the fucking time, it was so irritating. Can't you guys just like slow down when you try to speak so you don't get so muddled up? A friend of mine had it too though he only used to get it when he was getting stressed out over something like if he was in an interview or being asked a question in front of lots of people, he just couldn't spit out what he wanted to say. It's like you just want to tell him take a deep breath count to 10 and try again.

No offence, but with that attitude you wont help any friends/relatives that stutters.
There are people that only happen to stutter infront of mass of people(like me or your friend)and then there are people who stutter every single time.
Its not easy as you think, sure we all think, next time i talk with someone i ll calm down, but it doesnt work like that, its not possible to control your nervs at ease.

I'm in the same exact boat as you. I always stutter unless I talk to myself, I only stutter a little talking to my friends and family but in front of people I don't know or large groups I seem to do it more

Funny thing i noticed before is that for few months i didnt stutter at all,i didnt even think about stuttering.
Maybe the trick is to trick your brain in thinking you forget what stuttering is :P
