Nas is considerably one of the best successors of late Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac. These other rappers? Ha!

Some other respectable rappers would be Big L, Em, Method Man, Ice Cube, Papoose, Snoop Doggggyyy doggg, Oh yeah, and Easy-E. Fuck yea.

When people say Old Skool, they are referring to the late 80's and 90's man. And let's face it, hip hop didnt blow up until like late 70s and early 80s. Even then, it really got big in the 90s and people refer to it as 'Old skool'.

its not old school though it still has stylistic taste of modern rap including themes lyrics. metalcore started mid 90s and only got popular mid 2000s does that mean a album from 2005 is old school? no

Honestly, NWA was good, only cared for Ice Cube, Eazy, Yella, and Ren. Especially when they exposed how fake Dre is.

Nas's Illmatic Album is a classic no doubting that at all he actually re-released it this year for the 20th anniversary. I like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Wu-Tang with that 36 Chambers album straight fire hope the dominate the end of 2014 with A Better Tomorrow.
