I'm not sure if I've had that experience on PS though.

Security head for PSN/XBL, you get paid big jack pots every time you hit an exploit, I believe at Google every exploit you find, you get paid $2000+ and the more harmful the exploit is, the more they pay you. So it all depends on how much you try when you find security exploits in the system.
And of course, Microsoft pays more since they have way more money than Sony does 10 times.
