I've been thinking about upgrading to a PS4 for a while now. I finally decided it is time to actually do it,
Now, I'm having a dilemma:

• Keep my jailbroken PS3 and buy a PS4.
  
• Sell my jailbroken PS3 and then buy a PS4.
  

The thing is, if I kept my PS3 I would be able to play games for free, saving me alot of money.
I will only play GTA and maybe cod with some friend on my PS4.
If I sold it, I would have to 'pay less' for my PS4 (€400 - selling price).
Money is not a problem for both options.
So:
- PS3 and PS4, but more expensive to buy PS4 (€400 lost)
- Only PS4, (lets say €150 [400-selling]) but I have to pay alot more for new games.

Any advice?

I think you should keep the jailbreak and buy the ps4.

sell your cfw and buy an xb1 or put the $ to a nice custom pc

I've never sold a single console or game I own, even ones I have dupes of when I buy the GOTY editions, it's just not worth it, you get such a lousy price for them why even bother?

Even though I agree with PC being better, I only plan on buying consoles.
I don't play very often, and when I do it's with my friends (who are all on console).
I play maybe twice per week. So I see no need to buy an expensive gaming PC to then end up playing alone

Pc is still much better if your hardcore or casual

What games are coming out on PS3 which you want to play vs PS4?
If more games on PS3 keep the PS3 for a bit longer, not that many pick up a PS4 sell your PS3.
