I think the plethora of memes and unpopular JRPG avatars are getting annoying, while not seeing enough Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Tomb Raider, The Last of Us or other mainstream game additions. This isn't really meant to be some kind of stoking petition, since NGU is not representative of Sony, I'm just curious how other people feel about the avatar situation.

I understand this was created for PS3 people but, on PS4 you can have your avatar as whatever. I had some "adult" stuff as my avatar for a good while and didn't get banned or anything.

Doesn't that require adding someone as a friend? I think your avatar shows up as the PSN avatar unless someone is friends with you, or that could just be the real name request.
