Post: Ideas needed!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Heyo NGU Winky Winky

I'm in my final year of highschool, studying Industrial science.
Now, in order to graduate we have to go on an "internship" at a university and create a practical application on a given subject.
(Hope this makes sense since I'm from Belgium and it might be different where you live)
I was given microcontrollers, more specifically: AduC 832. (You must login or register to view this content.)
Now I have to think of an application on my own, but I have the creativity-level of a stone.
I have 2 sensors which I can use: Sound and light.

Does anyone know of a cool, yet not too hard (since I have to create it in Assembler, which I'm pretty noob at for now :p ) application that uses these 2 sensors?
Ofcourse, if I ended up using your idea I would give proper credit in my thesis.

An example would be:
A fully automatic light that can be toggled on/off by clapping and would be automatically turned off when it is light outside.

Thanks in advance!
