(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So sometimes I think that we LITERALLY could be dead and reliving our memories in such a way that it feels like 'life'.

Like, when people say "What happens when you die", what if THIS is what happens?

If you don't feel the same way, What do you think happens after death?

Like, when people say "What happens when you die", what if THIS is what happens? We will never find out and it actually kinda sucks because i have known people that have taken their own lives because this de-realisation got to a certain level where they were 100% convinced they were already dead or dreaming or something and yeah... I just wondered if anyone else experiences this.

If you don't, What do you think happens after death?

My grandfather died when he was child. The doctors lost all hope of him coming back. His mother kept pounding on his chest, begging for him to come back. I've never met the man, but from what my father says, after grandfather died, he went to Heaven. He saw some children playing ahead of him, and he stepped to go towards them. A figure stopped him, may it be Jesus or Peter or Michael or whomever, and told him, "It's not your time." Seconds later, he came back to life. Also, something about before going to Heaven, he could see the nurses and his own body on the hospital bed, and he heard what they were saying and saw what they were doing. So when he came back to life, he remembered those things. Can I prove it happened? No. But do I believe it happened? Yes. But, hey, if you don't believe this is life -- actual, physical life, you can always go ahead and test it for yourself. :p

And you're talking about out-of-body experiences.. I saw a documentary in Religious Education about someone doing that during surgery and they saw all around the surgical room and watched the entire procedure.

A similar thing is when they wake up during the operation and feel everything but are unable to show signs that they are even awake.

Apparently monks can do obe. Seems it only takes meditation and determination. I read a story one day about a priest who wanted to visit Heaven. So he had an out of body experience and visited God. He hadn't returned to his body in over a week, so they buried his body. He finally came back, and rang the bell, and by the time the villagers came to uncover his casket, he really died. There were scratch marks on the casket as well.

Have you ever experienced a de-realisation of life (have you ever convinced yourself that this could just be a memory playing back in your mind)

If you haven't, what do you think happens when we die?

I've never had a de-realisation of life nor had any out of body experiences. Have you ever thought that your mind is just dreaming about what things would look like and is painting a picture of what you beleive is something (for instance heaven) in your mind?. And for when you die i beleive you simply die, nothing else. You get put in a coffin and get put in the ground left to rot away until you are nothing but bones. If you beleive we go to heaven when we die do you beleive everything else does too? Like other animals like dogs to micro-bio organisms who's function is to produce proteins and reproduce.

Your Question seems to be Directed to People who believe in heaven , Which I Believe they would reply No . Humans , Being the Only Rational Animal is the only species that has that natural end
