(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); good evening/morning ladies and gentlemen, based upon your geographical location. I had a hypothetical question for the best and the brightest. this topic and discussion is based purely on hypotheticals. now let's say suppose you had a friend. and that he or she had a problem with their computer. Oh, and let's say it can be any desktop computer or laptop. for this discussion we'll just pick one. say a Toshiba Satellite laptop. standard, run of the mill laptop. and your friend had a power outage, and during that power outage the laptop self-encrypted the password feature on the HARD DRIVE. now i am not speaking of a bios or operating system password, but the hard drive itself. my question to the forum is how would one go about removing or re-setting the HDD password allowing one to gain access to the hard drive which would then allow you to run proper diagnostics to make any necessary repairs to said system. this folks, is the riddle. from my understanding we have a lot of brain power on this website. thanks for your time, look forward to hearing your thoughts and theories on this matter.

Peace to all, and happy thinking, Jawbreaker 4
