I'm mid way through setting up my rig for modding
I have cfw 4.70 ps3 slim
and a ps3 superslim 4.70 OFW

I Know I have quite a lot to go until I actually start services for people but I was just hoping on some tips from former modders and people who have had experience doing shops/services

Get elite.

First things first is you need Elite membership to sell on Nextgenupdate.

Once you've got that, a good simple design/ layout for your shop is key in my opinion.

yeah I know about elite as I said i'm not fully set up so I'm just going to do experiments and stuff to get my head around RTM and stuff and as soon as I know I will Most likely go for a annual subscription

yeah I've noticed how most services have a extremely noob friendly layout :'

Use the spam thread to gain posts.Comment around and make giveaways to raise your rep to be more trusted and to get more customers. You can always do free services to get vouches so people will believe you. This is a crap time to start doing services imo as most people are on next gen console's or on pc.There is only 1 person that i know that makes money off doing recovery services but good luck nevertheless.

services are dead well not dead just need to be premium on these forums and others to post your shop and sellling over mic in game is tiring. but however if you only do it for the cid money like me then its worth it sometimes, just depends on who you service to and if they got friends.

There are so many shops open. You need some good deals to get some cumtomers.

Don't expect to make lots of money with modding stats :p
