Only had a chance to listen t about half of the album so far...
I feel like the songs with people featuring are nothing special but he kills it in his solo songs Smile

Ya I agree, features were underwhelming. He also went a different way in his music making it more jazzy feeling and more calm. I have heard some people say they grew tired of his album in the first 4 songs. I have listened to it all in one sitting I think its pretty good, the production is on a whole new level and as usual his lyrics are superb. I don't see this being Rap Album of the year however with Kanye and Macklemore both releasing albums this year its gonna be a little difficult to compete with them. I howver got to give TDE and Interscope props they stopped the leaking game by releasing the album early on iTunes more that might help his sales alot.

Do a barrel roll!
He killed the songs and I liked that he didn't use the generic hip-hop tracks, which most people that I know didn't give a thumbs up because its different

Complete shit, if you like Kendrick for his past albums, you won't like this one. He doesn't go hard in this one, its more like jazz. And this is more about him complaining about how everybody hates black people and Ferguson, and how being black is so hard. Like shut the fuck up bro, not everyone is racist, and when a black person shoots a white person, nobody gives a fuck, but when a black person gets shot, shit goes ape shit and all you hear is, "Black person shot because of racist white person!". No bitch shut the fuck up about this racism shit already.
