Give a dis/advantages/intelligent 'newbie' belief and time !

I agree that new members do get hit too hard when joining and entering the shoutbox for a while until you're known.

But most of the new members (not all) spam the shoutbox with questions that have already been answered on the forums.



Also, you can report members to staff and we will deal with the problem.

It's all a part of the process. Boots (noobs) get hazed until they aren't a boot anymore, even though you'll still probably get hazed every now and then.
