Following the success of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty, Lorne Lanning, a developer for the Oddworld games, revealed that the company are in fact working on a remake of Abe's Exoddus for those keen fans wanting to continue their adventures in the wonderful land which is Oddworld.

Details are pretty much non-existent at the moment, however I do know that during a "Kinda Funny Games" stream on Twitch, Lorne Lanning confirmed that Oddworld Inhabitants are planning to work on a "ground-up" remake of Abe's Exoddus.
