Of course, I'm against terrorism and unlawful actions, but the more I thought about it and the more I watched, I realized Omar Khadr was a child soldier. Of course he confessed to accused crimes to get out of Guantanamo Bay. I would do the same thing. The thing is, he missed out his childhood. He got tortured severely at the age of 15. He was locked in a dark hell cage then transferred to the prison.

I watched the video of Omar Khadr speaking hours after he was released. He sounded calm and humble. I expected the different thing and I was really surprised how he handled everything.

My opinion is, we could give him other chance and give him a warm welcome.

Of course, you can't hate the child soldier who had no idea what they were doing. And it's probably the time to move on.

He said he wanted to study the medic and help people go through the pain he experienced in Guantanamo Bay. He told people not to travel to the Middle East to join the rebel groups. He encouraged youth not to follow his path. The question Omar got asked about the Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Omar answered amazingly. Harper is probably at the home raging as f**k xD

When the lawyer said he first met Omar Khadr in a dark cage with his hands cuffed to the bar, Omar and the lawyer travelled all the way to today which they both basically grew up together. That got my heart.

Any international law forbidden a prison for a person under 18 , isn't that terrorism it self ?

Guantanamo Bay is one of the worst places ever to go to. You can be called a terrorist and or traitor by the government and be instantly stripped of your rights, bagged and tagged and then tortured in government black sites and prisons where the CIA can do whatever they want to do to you. Places like Guantanamo Bay need to be shut down and should cease to exist.

Also they way the treat people is fucking horrible, for instance, if they refuse to eat they get what is nicknamed the "Lunch Tray" which is having pellets of food shoved up your nose and down your throat in unsanitary conditions. There's also Anal Rehydration which is having a hose shoved up your rectum and being hydrated that way (citation needed) and the mental and psychological effects on victims are beyond my comprehension.

Feel sorry for the bloke, however he did commit crimes..
