"If I told you that a flower bloomed in a dark room, would you trust it?" (Kendrick Lamar - Poetic Justice)
One of the best lines in rap history in my opinion. The line portrays the theme of the whole album. That Kendrick is a flower that bloomed in a dark room, which is Compton, a place of danger. He's asking the girl whether she can trust that he's a "good kid in a mad city" (The name of the album that this song is on). Kendrick in my opinion will be a rap legend, and I'm glad that I get to listen to him progress, just like how people that are 30-40 years old got to watch Eminem do the same 15 years ago.
