After a near-fatal plane crash in WWII, Olympian Louis Zamperini spends a harrowing 47 days in a raft with two fellow crewmen before he's caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.




To the people who have watched this/read the book, what do you think about it? Was the movie or book better? Did you like it? I have read and seen the movie and loved both of them. This true story is so shocking i just could not stop reading. But i have to say the book is better than the movie.

The town he grew up is the town over from where i live, Torrance. It was a great movie.
