Yeah i'm not a fan of long distance relationships, i'd either put the relationship on hold until they are back within actual contact or find a new relationship as a whole.

Me and my boyfriend were in one for two years until he moved in with me, in July.

We played PS3 with each other a lot, skyped, talked on the phone/messaged.
Maybe even skype while watching the same movie? (Its pretty fun)
Played games on the phone/computer with each other.
Etc.

Long distance relationships are hard. But as long as you both put effort into it and trust each other, theres a good chance it will work out. There will always be those moments when you just aren't sure, but you have to keep thinking positive and hope for the day that comes that you will be able to finally be together.

Long distance relationships aren't for everyone, but you never really know. Sometimes it doesn't work out, sometimes it does.
